Since Retsu is just my original character for the DDR characters in DDR X. His role would be in my next fic after DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE! where he is a government agent and hacker. His SMM has him being fought the human characters except both Queen-Zukin and Louis Consent III. Here is his secret SMM.
Retsu was finally graduated at the technology institute in Japan and became a
special class agent in the government of the United States. He takes down people operating illegal activities and petty thieves in every town. After his mission, he visited Disco Town to visit his old friends in Japan which it hits him.
Retsu: Seems like my old friends are already here in this town. Perhaps, I would meet them again one last time.
And so, Retsu decides to explore Disco Town and to see his old friends who lived there.
Episode 1: At SMM School
Julio: Hey it's Retsu...
Retsu: Well if isn't Julio, did Reiji let you taste his takoyaki?
Julio: Of course... and his takoyaki is delicious.
Retsu: Anyway, so he was still at the carnival? That guy hasn't changed trying to urge anyone to buy his takoyaki.
Julio: Hey maybe we should dance first, Retsu. Rage was saying that you were good in dancing too. Come on, just try it.
Retsu: Oh well, I guess I'll let you do whatever you want.
(After the dance battle)
Julio: So it was true. You were pretty good.
Retsu: I guess I'll go to the carnival then. An agent like me would explore here in this town.
Julio: Good luck with that?!
Episode 2: Train Station (This is where he meets up with Alice)
Alice: Oh, Retsu...
Retsu: What's up Alice?
Alice: Are you going to the carnival by any chance?
Retsu: Of course I do, Reiji was having a takoyaki business there. I decided to visit here in this town to see you all.
Alice: Uhm... is it okay to dance with me. I hate to see my fans would go after me.
Retsu: Okay then...
(After a brief dance)
Alice: Thank you for losing them, Retsu. I'm happy for you.
Retsu: It reminds me how Yuni would do that. Anyway, I'll be off to the carnival, Alice. You might go now.
Episode 3: MAX Carnival (Instead Rage is a boss of this stage. He was replaced by Emi. This is due to Rage as his final boss of his SMM)
Emi: Hey, Retsu... Are you looking for Rage?
Retsu: Yes I am, Emi. They say he was here at the carnival. But all I can see here is his takoyaki stand.
Emi: I think dancing with you would be great. He wants to see you how improved you are today.
Retsu: sigh, Fine then... beating you in a dance would be easy.
(After the dance battle)
Emi: Wow, Retsu... you were getting improved. Rage would be surprised by this.
Retsu: What kind a surprise you mean?
Emi: Sorry Retsu... I can't tell you right now, it's a secret, Bye.
(Emi runs off)
Retsu: A secret? Hmm, I don't get it?
Episode 4: Verse Mansion (Since in Yuni in her SMM, her bodyguard Akira was mentioned by his appearance. His name would be mentioned in his SMM.
Yuni: Oh it's Retsu... I'm glad to see you again.
Retsu: Hey, Yuni and what's with your maid get up?
Yuni: I wore this so that I could sneak out of the mansion to get Rage's takoyaki.
Retsu: Oh I see then, Did you actually snuck out on Akira again?
Yuni: What!? Don't mentioned his name again, understand? Your snobbish attitude really annoys me...
Retsu: sigh... Oh well... I guess beating you in a dance battle would be good. I already noticed Reiji gives you more of his takoyaki for free and letting Akira carry most of them for you to eat.
Yuni: Grr... if I beat you... you should apologize. I can't believe someone like you exposing my actions.
(After the dance battle)
Retsu: Darn... why would Emi makes a secret about this earlier?
Yuni: Do you have a problem, Retsu?
Retsu: The truth is, I was looking for Reiji at the carnival. But all I found was Emi and she was saying about a secret and ran off.
Yuni: Hmmm.... I think dancing was the reason.
Retsu: ......
Yuni: You just goof me off, big time earlier. Maybe you should keep looking, Retsu. You might find Rage there.
Retsu: You probably right.
Episode 5: Rocket Launch Pad
Retsu: (wonders) Hmm... what kind a secret that Emi was talking about? If Yuni was saying that dancing was the reason? Did they trying to show my hidden talent?
Baby-Lon: Yattah!
Retsu: (gasp) Gah! It's Baby-Lon. Looks like you're going to be ready as an astronaut. But way too young...?
Baby-Lon: Mama seems to know your actions. But I'm ready to blasts off soon.
Retsu: Wow... you could talk a lot. Normal babies need to learn first how to talk. But you're able to talk because of the earmuffs that you wore.
Baby-Lon: You got it...
Retsu: I left with no choice but to play with you for a while.
(After a brief dance)
Baby-Lon: Yay! Mama would be happy to see you dance.
Retsu: Mrs. Babahara really knew this will happen to me. Well I'll be off...?
(Retsu runs off)
Baby-Lon: Yay! Yay!
Episode 6: EXTREME arcade
Retsu: Guess you must be a newbie in this town.
Zero: ....
Retsu: Come to think of it, you seem to be silent and mysterious. I guess Reiji just warn you after you beat him in a dance. Still bad temper as ever.
Zero: You seem to know him well. His takoyaki was an interesting flavor. But I prefer to feed this to my arowana. Unfortunately I got beaten out by the dance king if I were you.
Retsu: You talk so brief.... Now I understand how mysterious you are.
Zero: Maybe beating you with my dance moves would be better. Please, no more talking.
(After the dance battle)
Zero: Hmm... you're pretty good. You're quite a snobby sometimes.
Retsu: ....
Zero: Well enjoy while you can... I'll beat you the next time we meet!
Retsu: Well if I'm snobby... you're quite rude. Now I know why Reiji got annoyed when you ignore him.
Zero: Grr....
Episode 7: Final Stage Airport
Ruby: You look familliar...?
Retsu: ....
Ruby: You're just like how Rage gets here.
Retsu: So you do know... did you try to eat his takoyaki?
Ruby: Well he tells me to try it. But it was delicious. He got so mad when he forgot to tell me to pay for it.
Retsu: That's Reiji... he's like that when he got frustrated. I never knew someone like him to forgot to pay for his takoyaki.
Ruby: Maybe we should dance a little. You're quite a nice talker to see me.
Retsu: ....
(After a brief dance)
Ruby: Wow... you were good to dance.
Retsu: I guess he's not even here.
Episode 8: Film Studio
Jenny: Well if isn't Retsu... what brings you here at the studio?
Retsu: I was looking for Reiji since he's not on the carnival only I found was Emi and she was saying about a secret.
Jenny: My little brother would even guessed if its a secret. Perhaps, dancing would be better to know about it.
Retsu: Yuni also said that, dancing would be a reason...
(After a brief dance)
Jenny: You're not half bad... It appears you were being tested by him.
Retsu: A test?
Jenny: Maybe you should find Disco, Retsu. He seems to know where Rage is.
Episode 9: Racing Circuit
Retsu: (wonders) A test, huh? Could it really be it? However, what am I doing at the racing circuit?
Bonnie: Hey, you.
Retsu: Uhm... Me?
Bonnie: Yeah, you what are you doing at the racing circuit? Just like that girl being followed by that guy behind her.
Retsu: Yuni did get here before? Seems like Akira had followed her along the way to think she would be caught off by him on purpose.
Bonnie: You have a smart mouth... I know, dancing with you will be fun. You might tell me somehing about more of this.
(After the dance battle)
Retsu: I see, so Yuni had thanked you for losing him. She needs to lessen her bratty attitude.
Bonnie: Come to think of it, I didn't get a good look on that person before. Do you know his name by any chance.
Retsu: His name is Akira and he is Yuni's bodyguard.
Bonnie: Oh I see... so the black haired guy's name was Akira. So that's why he's keeping a close an eye on her the whole time. You're quite a smart mouth to know more about them.
Retsu: Nah! I just easily noticed about the commotion between you and Yuni. That's all there's to it.
Bonnie: Well since you were finding Disco, tell him that I have a rematch with him when you see him.
Retsu: I'll try...
Episode 10: EXTRA mall
Gus: Hey there, Retsu. You look pretty exhausted.
Retsu: Barely?
Gus: Hmm... I can't let my friend goes tired and exhausted. Maybe I can play some of my dance songs to make you feel better. Everyone is gonna get wild.
Retsu: Sounds good to me.
(After a dance battle)
Gus: Feelling better?
Retsu: Yeah, I'm fine now. Thanks a lot, Gus.
Gus: If you were looking for Disco? He's at the park. I heard you were searching for Rage for the longest time.
Retsu: Really?
Gus: Now you go and find him. Disco seems to know about the secret that Rage is trying to do to you.
Episode 11: Revolution Park
Disco: Well well, are you searching for Rage?
Retsu: I realized he's not on the carnival and Emi just run off because of the secret. Is he trying to test my hidden talents?
Disco: You got that right, kid. That secret that Emi has keeping it to you was to show your hidden talent in dancing. You're being clueless the whole time.
Retsu: ....
Disco: Don't try to be upset, he wants to show your hidden soul within you and let's see your hidden talent within you.
(After the dance battle)
Retsu: Wow... I've never seen a disco king would challenge me for it.
Disco: You will do just fine, kid. Since you were searching for Rage and he's on Disco Tower.
Retsu: All this time, he's on a tower...! That place is before the carnival!
Disco: Cheer up, kid. Walking is good for the health and it's gotta be good. Now you show it to Rage how good you danced like he is.
Final Episode: Disco Tower
Rage: Well Retsu, you finally made it this far. You got a lot of time looking for me everywhere in this town.
Retsu: Now I realized why Emi runs off just because you're trying to make a secret to show my hidden talent. How could you, Reiji?
Rage: Just to make things fair. Emi told me about everything of what you did. I'm quite impressed.
Retsu: You never changed, Reiji. Still a guy with a bad temper as always. Who actually forgot to charge his takoyaki to his customers and scolds Emi just to pay his takoyaki for the first time. Is that an attitude?
Rage: Grr... don't insult me like that, Retsu! You're far more snobbish! Now it's you and me, dance battle what do you say?
Retsu: Fine by me, Reiji. I'll beat you on purpose for what you did.
(After the dance battle)
Retsu: Huff huff....
Rage: Huff huff... Wow... you're getting improved, Retsu.
Retsu: Huh? What do you mean improved?
Rage: You just passed the test. I'm just trying to test your dance moves, Retsu.
Retsu: All this time, you were testing me this whole time. I can't believe you...
Rage: Take it easy, Retsu. I left the carnival so that I can test your dance moves. Frankly, you were getting improved than Zero did.
Retsu: Guess I was really carried away.
Rage: Since our dance battle is a draw. I'll make some takoyaki for free, What do you think, Retsu.
Retsu: Sounds good to me. I'm kinda hungry when you make a test on me. I'm beat...
And so, Retsu's mission is finally cleared that to see his old friends again. The only friend he cannot miss was Rage because he was his long-time friend as he happily tries his takoyaki to make him not to get hungry and was impressed for his takoyaki business. Dancing was actually the true secret to test his hidden talent.
