Reiji "Rage" Itoh- is a character from Dance Dance Revolution games. He is the main protagonist in the fan anime series since his debut in 3rdMIX replacing the previous protagonists Afro and Dread-Snake. He is Garuda's paternal grandson, Emi's boyfriend and partner of Team Burning and the leader of the two groups.

Appearance:

Rage appears as a young Japanese male with brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. Before DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA, his hair was shoulder length which is spiked upwards. He wears multiple outfits from 3rdMIX up to Universe 2 which his clothes involve in camoflauge and it was seen either his pants or his jacket.

In 3rdMIX and DDRMAX2- he wears a red vest under a black short sleeve v-neck shirt, different shades of green camoflauge pants with yellow linings in both of his pants and gray and black sneakers. In DDRMAX2, he briefly wears this outfit when he is not dancing and fighting against his enemies in one episode.

In 4thMIX up to the first half and finale of DDR Party Collection- He wears an orange short sleeve shirt with a black collar and the edge of his sleeves. Underneath is a white long sleeve shirt, his pants in 3rdMIX has minor changes as the color of his pants changed to blue gray and the yellow linings changed to cyan and maintains his gray and black sneakers. In his Ultramix 2 appearance, the collar of his shirt and the edge of his sleeves are dark blue and his pants changed to brown and green and his gray and black sneakers is replaced with white sneakers. This is his iconic outfit for most of his appearance from different seasons. His battle outfit was his summer version of his 4thMIX outfit as his orange and white shirt is replaced with a white muscle shirt but maintains his pants and sneakers. In one episode in DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE due to his appearance in Ultramix and Universe, he retains this outfit but his pants and sneakers are part of his updated 4thMIX outfit in Ultramix 2.

In 5thMIX up to DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE- He wears a dark red hoodie jacket with yellow green linings in both chest and the edge of his sleeves and has pale yellow lines in the upper sleeves. Underneath is a black short sleeve shirt, blue gray camouflage capris with black kneepads in both of his knees and yellow, black and blue boots. His boots resemble Trunks' golden yellow and black boots in the Dragon Ball franchise.

In the fan anime series, he is briefly seen having his dark red hoodie jacket being tied to his waist and becomes his battle outfit during his missions starting in DDRMAX2 until DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE.

His festival outfit is a white karate gi top with a purple belt tied to his gi, black pants and black slippers. He also wears this in the near end of DDRMAX as he loses the right half of his gi where he acts as a iron fist warrior during the theater play.

In DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE- His primary outfit is his 5thMIX outfit and in later episodes he was seen wearing different outfits throughout the series run where he appears in both Ultramix and Universe series. His alternate appearance is still his 5thMIX outfit as the color of his jacket changed to black instead of dark red, and the linings changed to yellow. The color of his camouflage capris changed to red and orange while his black kneepads changed to brown and the color of his boots is now green and the blue design changed to yellow but maintains the black design of his original outfit.

When he was targeted by the mafia organization and makes a trap while he dances with Emi and Yuni, he wears a white sleeveless tank top with red and white shoulder bands in both of his shoulders, dark blue denim pants and leather brown shoes. He also wears a matching red and white headband on his forehead. This is his fourth outfit in DDR Universe.

In one episode, He wears a gray formal jacket with a "gakuen" embedded on his jacket under a white sleeve button shirt with a black neck tie on the collar, gray pants and black shoes. This is his third outfit in DDR Universe and this is his former school uniform He also wear this during Emi's prom night.

His battle outfit during the infiltration of the mafia organization has him wearing a white and black sleeveless jersey shirt with a DDR logo and his full name imprinted in the center of his shirt, baggy camoflauge capris and black and white converseque sneakers. This is his primary outfit in DDR Ultramix 3. In the fan anime series when he wears his Ultramix 3 outfit, the imprinted DDR logo and his full name is not seen in the center of his shirt and was seen wearing a matching red and white wristbands as an addition and his converesque sneakers reverts back to his previous sneakers but maintains the black and white color of his sneakers. 

In DDR SuperNOVA up to DDR X, His hair becomes darker and was cut short although it still have spikes. He was seen wearing a red and blue cap.

In DDR SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA2, he wears a golden yellow jersey jacket under a white loose undershirt, blue gray hipster denim pants and gray leather shoes. In his alternate appearance, he wears a blue sleeveless hoodie jacket with black spider web design at the back of his jacket and gray thick lines in the edge of his jacket. Underneath is a olive green muscle shirt, baggy hipster jean shorts and white sneakers. He also wears wristbands in both of his wrists with a gray wristband to his right wrist and light gray and white wristband to the left and wears a black headband to show the small spikes on his hair and is not seen wearing a red and blue cap. This is his battle outfit during SuperNOVA2 and later during DDR X.

In DDR X, he wears the mixture between his primary outfit in SuperNOVA and his alternate outfit in SuperNOVA2. He wears a blue leather vest with thick white line at the back of his vest. Underneath, is a gray diamond design white sleeveless hoodie jacket, mahogany brown pants with two stars on the right leg with a black belt to his waist and white sneakers with yellow linings. He is now seen wearing the hood on his white sleeveless jacket. He also wears an orange and black sport watch on his left wrist. In the fan anime series, he fights wearing this outfit with hood or without hood. In Yuni and his SMM, he was seen in this outfit with a matching white headband and a waist apron as a takoyaki chef and he is not seen wearing the hood. He also wears this outfit in early episodes in DDR X2.

In the third episode where he saves Emi from being attacked from one of the members of X-Pac organization, he wears a black formal suit jacket under a white long sleeve buttoned shirt, pale blue denim pants and brown shoes. He still wears his black belt from his primary outfit and this is his party attire.

In DDR X2 through DDR2013, his hair is cut shorter and always covered with headwear and the spiky hair is lost. He is now seen wearing a black fedora hat.
  
He wears a yellow formal coat with two dark yellow cross lines at the back of his coat which is connected to the front coat and black folded sleeves with red linings. Underneath, is a gray undershirt with sky blue designs at the center of his shirt, reddish brown slim pants with orange and brown tint and black steel toed shoes. He also wears a brown and black scarf on his neck and wears a black bracelet on his left wrist.

In DDR2014 movie and TV series, his outfit incorporates both his X and X2 primary outfits as his battle outfit. He now wears a vibrant red leather jacket with a yellow green undershirt with pale yellow collar, blue gray denim pants with a black belt to his waist and white sneakers with yellow linings. He also has a black collar on his leather jacket and wears a black and orange sports watch. His belt, watch and sneakers are part of his X outfit and the color scheme of his outfit is based off his hoodie jacket in his 5thMIX outfit and he is now seen without the black fedora hat

In DDR A, Rage has revamped his appearance and his hair regains his shoulder length spiky hair from before DDR SuperNOVA,

He wears a combination between his hoodie vest in DDR X, his shirt in DDR X2 and his pants and sneakers in both DDR 3rdMIX and DDR 4thMIX. He wears a red leather sport vest with a black short sleeve loose shirt with gray designs at the center of his shirt, white pants with green linings in each sides and red and black sneakers.

Fighting Capacity:
Rage is fast and agile and is capable of defeating multiple opponents at once. He becomes unbeatable when he easily knocks his opponent with either his punches or kicks. He mainly uses kicks using Resshuken where he delivers a powerful knee and kicks to his enemies. He also able to block his opponent with his arm and countering it with a powerful kick. He also uses punches and combos as his finishing blows. He also has exhibition feats due to his performance as a street dancer as he demonstrates this when he uses backflips to avoid any enemy attacks. He can also outsmarts his opponents when he's being outnumbered with the exception of DDRMAX2 where he was outmatched by Izzy after an attempt to block most of his explosive knives rendering him severely injured. He also uses swords against opponents who had weapons. (possibly from watching sports involves on weapons like kendo and fencing.)

In DDR X, he lacks his vigilantism due to his role as a takoyaki chef but retains the ability to fight. In DDR X2 and onwards, he is able to defeat strong opponents with one or three blows as it demonstrates when he defeats Dark Rinon, Gideon who pilots his robo gear and Dulton when he controls his robot creation.

Character and Personality:

Rage is described as a confident and brave person with a horrible temper (This is why his opponents including Izam hates him). Despite his temper, he likes Emi so much even as his partner up to EXTREME 2/STRIKE and onwards during her Street Master Mode in DDR X where he wants to go with her in Disco's party but with his takoyaki stand as the latter tells him that anyone can look good on the right clothes which he replies that he didn't say anything after he was defeated by her. He also has a heated rivalry with Izam since his introduction in Dance Dance Revolution 4thMIX which he was determined to outdance him in the dance contest as both were fighting each other like cats and dogs with just small things until his last appearance in Dance Dance Revolution Party Collection. Their rivalry also shows in DDRMAX during the background video in every songs where he and Izam are performing the cartwheel stand and they are not looking at each other after performing this move, showing their hatred with one another. He can also predict earthquakes.

In DDR X, He also shows to be stubborn if someone doesn't buy his takoyaki as seen throughout his story (when he urges Emi to buy his takoyaki). He also hates to lose when other characters defeat him in a dance contest as seen throughout both Disco and Zero's Street Master Mode where he wants to have a rematch with either of the two. Especially, when other people are doubting on his cooking as seen on his story when he angrily mad at Bonnie from her doubtful questions after the latter say that there's nothing creepy inside the takoyaki that he was currently making.

In the fan anime series, he maintains his personality in the games and in addition to his hotheadedness, he becomes extremely vigilant to fight against his enemies as well as the main antagonist from every season. He likes his girlfriend Emi and it was his determination to save her when she is in danger numerous times and also his best friend, Retsu who aids him to fight against his enemies. He inherits his horrible temper and his cleverness from his grandfather, Garuda whom he greatly respects with. He is full potential on leading the two groups where he uses his leadership skills for a good use.

His running gag for most of the series, has him being beaten up mainly by one woman as it demonstrates in 4thMIX where he flirts back at Ling while he was hanging out with her this causes Emi to get jealous and slaps him in the face visibly upset resulting in a nearly broken partnership and relationship between them who becomes astonished to see her get angry. In DDR X, all the girls had a crush on him due to his good looks this makes Emi to get angry to him as she steps intensively on his foot making him scream in agony. In DDRMAX, he and Retsu ends up being beaten badly by most women after he insults Kaoru for being weak. In DDR EXTREME, he was struck by knives by Kari which she makes him as a practice dummy and later in SuperNOVA2 where he mocks her from being overmature this results her being struck him with her kunais and when Rena is introduced in DDR X2, he was kicked intensively to his leg by her after he touches her hair wiggly.

Rage is portrayed as a street dancer with a temper that's how he got his nickname. Later in both DDR SuperNOVA up to DDR X, he continues to work as a local street dancer and now as a popular takoyaki chef. In DDR X2 and onwards he becomes a leading back up dancer with the famous artist. In the fan anime series he maintains his portrayal in the game series and was the protecting leader of DDR City and later as the leader of DDR Global Protectors..

Story Sypnosis:

3rdMIX
"Ready or not, competitors. Cause Team Burning is gonna win this competition?!"
 -Rage to Emi and Ecks as he was confident to compete in the 3rd competition.


Rage alongside Emi, Boldo, Tracy, Astro, Charmy, Evil-Zukin and Konsento: 03 debut in 3rdMIX as he appears as the main protagonist and onwards. He also appears in the prequel, Crisis of EMTI.

Rage and Emi are practicing their dance moves in the Burning Dome as all the audience are excited to see their performance. Ecks a friend of Emi's become the manager of their team called Team Burning as he tells them that there was a 3rd Competition is coming in a week which Rage was confident to enter and eventually registers in the competition with Emi in his side as Team Burning enters the competition. Both were unaware the enemy's surroundings. When Rage and his friends are having a overnight camp in the mansion house. They later discovered the mansion was a set up made by an alien named Mameo and he creates a tornado blast causing him to be separated with Emi, Retsu, Beechum and two of Emi's friends. One of his henchmen named Zorac tries to save him by knock the rock that he was stepping on causing him to fall onto the ocean. Mameo sees this and Zorac is later re-brainwashed.

Rage was later seen unconscious and he ends up in hideaway as he wakes up and was chilling in cold and he saw an old hermit is in front of him as he saw his 3rdMIX clothes are encased in ice. When the old hermit uses the fire blaster to melt the ice. This angers him from his actions until the old hermit reveals himself was his grandfather, Garuda. He tells him that the person who attacked and separates him from his friends was an alien named Mameo in which Rage encounters the alien who attacked him from the rear. Garuda gives him an advice not to forget how he taught him to fight. Renewing his fighting prowess, Rage decides to find his friends before facing off Mameo.

Kari appears to see both Garuda and Rage and he reveals to him that she was his maternal cousin as he and Kari sets on a quest to find his friends. Rage reminisces all the training that his grandfather taught him as well as he masters his own fighting style as he intensively kicks the tree as it falls on the ground. Kari tells him that he shouldn't forget all the teachings and his fighting style and Rage gladly agrees wanted to mix up with his fighting style and his street dance moves.

He finally reunites with Emi and Retsu and the latter became jealous when Kari is with him. Rage tells her that Kari was his cousin and she understands him more and became worried to him. He then decides to fight against Mameo once he found him and his henchmen.

After his henchmen were free from Mameo's brainwashing, Mameo escapes and knowing that he's not giving up from his plans. Zorac tells them that he plans to destroy the Earth by hitting with the dangerous fluid that he created once it exposes in the air it becomes extremely acidic. With this, Rage detemines to stop the alien's madness.

When the 3rd Competition is about to begin, Mameo brainwashes Ling Xian Monroe/Cow-Ko, Team Burning's fashion designer who follows to his bidding by joining the competition as Team Uma. Team Burning manages to defeat the other teams until they make it to the finals. Rage discovers Mameo is in the competition and Emi noticed Ling was brainwashed into joining with him. With this they managed to defeat Team Uma and Mameo was angrily pissed off and finally reveals his motives that he will destroy the Earth with a acidic goo as it hits them with a gun. Everyone manages to avoid and Garuda discovers the acid goo burns the tree and it easily consume itself if other people touches the goo they will easily die. With that, Dread-Snake, Rage and the others decided to stop the alien once and for all.

"I'm gonna put an end of your madness, Mameo. For pissing me off!" 
 -Rage as he delivers a knee and kick combo to Mameo sending him fall into the pit of acid goo to his death.

Garuda and Dread-Snake discovers Mameo has an underground facility where he creates the dangerous fluid as everyone finally infiltrates the facility. Rage was saved by his grandfather after an enemy attempts to strike him from behind as Garuda tells him that Mameo is in the creation room. Rage finally confronts Mameo in the creation room where he creates the acid goo below the pits and they fight in an intense brawl. Mameo shoots him with an acidic gun as Rage quickly dodges as his red vest was grazed by an acid goo. he quickly removes his vest and seeing his vest was burned and consume. Mameo knows he was no match for him as he shoots him multiple times with his acidic gun but fail due to his dance exhibition feats. Without warning, Rage manages to defeat the alien by knee to the gut and delivers a powerful kick to his small face sending him falling to the acid goo that he created and was easily consumed to death finally end his plans.

After the infiltration and Garuda disperse with the other fire fighters with fresh water to touch the acid goo into stone. He with Afro and Dread-Snake formed a group called "The Protectors of DDR City" and Rage was appointed as the leader to the group which his leadership is put to a good use in fighting against the enemies' attacks.

4thMIX
"We have to be prepared, Ems. We're gonna enter the 4th Competition for another win." 
-Rage to Emi before entering the 4th Competition.

Rage appears in 4thMIX as he with Emi continues to compete in the competitions due to their returning appearance in the game. When Izam is introduced in this season, he has a heated rivalry with him in the 4th competition.    

Ling finally thanked the two of them from saving her from Mameo back after the incident and she made new outfits for both of them as a token for being free from brainwashing. Rage and Emi continues to practice dancing in Burning Dome and decide to enter in the 4th Competition. Throughout the episodes, Rage decides to become a self-proclaimed love adviser to Retsu. He was informed by his grandfather that a new threat comes to attack the city this time a man named Kaiser. They manage to defeat the teams and they make it to the finals. Later, he hangs out with their fashion designer, Ling who is actually flirting him from the beginning while they are in the restaurant and he himself flirts her back. This causes Emi to get jealous as she angrily slaps him visibly upset and she stomps away angrily resulting in a nearly broken partner and relationship. Later on during the overnight made by Retsu, Kari, Akira and Yuni, Rage finally apologizes Emi from his actions and she reluctantly accepts his apology until he was attacked by one of Kaiser's henchmen before defeating him.

"Kaiser, your plans are finally over. Let's finish this!"
-Rage while confronting Kaiser in the generator room.

After the reconciliation with Emi, He was sent by his grandfather along with Retsu, Emi, Kari, Akira, Yuni and later Izam to infiltrate Kaiser's hideout in the northeast in Hokkaido after Kaiser causes an unknown disease in the city where the victims are in a deep sleep and the finals of the 4th competition becomes suspended. Garuda gives Rage a communicator as a mean to contact him. He and his group discovers the village was fused with a strange device that leads the whole village into it's demise once Kaiser has been defeated. When they infiltrate his hideout, Rage finally confronts Kaiser as they start a brawl. Rage manages to defeat Kaiser and knowing of his limits. Kaiser is then fall into the pit as he grabs his hand. Kaiser tells him that his fight with him is not over as he lets him fall into the pit. Rage realizes that he was presumed dead.

In the finals of the 4th Competition, his team fights off against Team Soul Express. During the finals, Rage becomes overconfident in beating Boldo's team until he causes many mistakes putting Emi in maniac instead of basic and ends up the latter being sick and vomit due to her stomachache this results them being in second place and he does not accept defeat and angrily stomps away in the competition leaving his partner and girlfriend behind.

"I maybe lost the 4th competition. But I have to save the whole city!" 
-Rage before going to Bio Dome with Emi, Retsu and Yuni.

After the competition had ended, Kaiser is revealed to be alive and was fused with his monster from his hideout and directly targets EMTI. Rage was called by Emi to meet her in the museum. As he waited her in the museum, he finally reunites her again with Retsu while Yuni is with him. Retsu warns him about the upcoming chaos that a strange creature was up in the sky trying to make a disaster in the city. With this, Rage and the group manage to escape the onslaught and EMTI and DDR City became fused similar in the village that they saw. He is later reunites with his grandfather, Liana, Evil-Zukin, Konsento: 3/2 and Kari.

He blames his grandfather for causing all the trouble and he replies that Kaiser was alive and he's responsible for fusing his institute into a monster place called Bio Dome. He then sends him to get the divine essence to craft the divine explosives in order to purify the inhabitants including the people of DDR City. When Garuda crafts the divine explosives, Emi was angry to him due to his horrible temper where he was angry for just small things. Rage calmly apologizes to her that he will be a better boyfriend to her. Therefore, he was called by his grandfather and scolds him for being overconfident and tells him that he may lost the competition, he has to save the city. He gives Rage the divine sword after he crafted the divine explosives. Garuda tells him that sword is the same as the divine explosives but not to press the button at the center of the sword which can self destruct by itself. Before going to Bio Dome, he was called by his grandfather one final time and tells him to defeat Kaiser. He maybe lost the competition but he has to save the the city. With that he and his group proceed to Bio Dome.

When they explore inside Bio Dome, Rage and the group found the people in DDR City including his friends were fused and later discovers Kaiser was alive and was fused with the monster inside of it's heart. Kaiser awakens to see them and becomes insane wanted to destroy humanity. He and Retsu fight the monster fused Kaiser as he wields the holy divine sword. Both are later outmatched when Rage impales Kaiser with the sword but no effect. Kaiser realizes the clock was ticking from the sword and Rage outsmarts him saying that this sword is gonna blow once he clicks the button leading Kaiser to his demise.

"We finally save the city, guys. It's finally over." 
-Rage to Emi, Retsu and Yuni who saves the city after surviving the explosion.

He and Retsu finally set the divine explosives in thirty minutes as the group leaves the Bio Dome once the time goes zero it creates a deadly explosion as Rage and the group manages to escape but hurting themselves in the explosion leaving them severely injured. Rage is later seen in shirtless as his pants are in tatters and he saw Emi is falling on the sky and quickly catches her in time and Retsu falls on the ground as Yuni also falls and landed into him (Emi with Retsu and Yuni's clothes were in tatters and her hat is destroyed). The group saw all the people in DDR City including Izam and Akira are finally purified and the city is finally saved.

After the incident, Rage visits EMTI were it was reconstructed by the construction workers due to direct orders of the Japanese Government. He and Retsu decides to go back to Burning Dome to hang out and reunites with Emi.

5thMIX
 "Hey big guy. Seems like taking you down is the right thing to do? But I won't let you hurt any innocent people."
-Rage to Krelion during the brawl in the roof of the train.

Rage returns in 5thMIX as he and Emi are competing again in the dance competition with the new characters due to their returning appearance in the game.

Rage saves two of his neighbors from the thieves in the alleyway of the city and he reveals to them while removing the hood on his dark red hoodie jacket. He visits in EMTI and to see his best friend Retsu who is spying on the director's office. His grandfather was acquainted by the man named John Krueger who turns out to be a paranoid agent wants to create chaos in the city and to claim EMTI. After he and Retsu beats some of John's men, they discover his grandfather becomes a victim to his cause and he determines to stop John's maniacal plans.

When Maho, Baby-Lon and Alice were introduced while Emi and Kari visits the Ip's household, Rage sneaks out by climbing through the window in their house to make an espionage leaving Retsu becomes dismayed to him and leaves to follow both girls.

After the introduction when Johnny and Charmy arrive, Krelion, a large cyborg is sent by John to kill both Jun and Alice. This prompts Rage to knock the cyborg with a punch almost knocking him down and he goes with them to escape in the secret escape route and rides in the Ip's very own private train.

Rage finally took off his dark red jacket and ties it to his waist as Emi scolds him for his actions. He then opens the train window and leaps through the train ladder and climbs through the roof. He finally confronts Krelion who pursues them and leads them to fight on a roof. Rage finally dispatches Krelion as he knocks him off through the cliff with a powerful kick.

Inside the train's engine room, Garuda tries to pull the breaks but it won't budge as Afro, Johnny, and Jun helps him pull the breaks as it successfully stops the train. But the quick stop let Rage been thrown on the large rock, hurting himself. Krelion arrives to confront him one final time as the fight becomes a intense bout. Retsu manages to detect the enemies' weak point telling Rage to punch him through his stomach as he successfully do it, decapitate Krelion in the process.

After Spike was introduced and saves him from John's men. He was invited to his girlfriend's company anniversary for a night swimming. But it was disrupted by one of Gideon's inventions creating a whirlpool on the swimming pool causing Emi and her friends to be engulf and captured by Gideon who works with John for vengeance. Retsu discovers their pool is connected through Gideon's underground facility and Rage was determined to save Emi as he swims through their pool up to the underground facility. He successfully rescues Emi and her friends until Gideon confronts them while piloting with a giant robot only to be foiled by his grandfather, Garuda who is hanging in Robo2001's wings.

Before the 5th Competition, his grandfather was acquainted by the original music producer, Naoki Maeda who is later kidnapped by John and his men prompting Garuda to send Rage and the group to rescue him in the abandoned warehouse near in Port Bay. After rescuing Naoki, John finally confronts both him and Retsu and knowing that they were the threat to his plan and he leaves the scene.

"Let's win this 5th Competition, Emi. We're not going to lose like the last competition!"
-Rage to Emi at the start of the 5th Competition.

Team Burning enters the 5th Competition as his cousin Kari is now the manager to their team. They manage to defeat other teams and make it to the finals to face Team Afro and Janet. Rage was unaware that his grandfather was the manager of Afro's team.

During the finals Rage finally discovers his grandfather is the manager of the team and tells him that his gonna win. But it was disrupted by John and his men making amends on the competition. If his team wins, Garuda will be executed. If Afro's team wins, he will claim EMTI with his men. This results in a do or die match and Rage was forced to lose the competition knowing that he doesn't want his grandfather to be killed allowing team Afro and Janet wins the competition.
  
"You hurt my grandfather, and you have no way of life. I will never forgive you, for hurting him!" 
-Rage to John after he shot his grandfather while risking his life to save him.

After the competition, Rage and his grandfather along with the competitors as well as the students of EMTI who protests against John's claim as they infiltrate the main building in EMTI. He saw his grandfather, Garuda is after John as he and Retsu follow him. When they manage through the rooftop Garuda finally confronts John as they fight. John threatens Garuda as he gunpoints either both Rage and Retsu but trying to target him. Garuda quickly tackles his grandson and he was shot on his right shoulder. Rage seeing his grandfather risking his life to save him, he lowers his head and angrily clenches his fists stating that John has no way of life and does not forgive him for hurting his grandfather as he angrily charges John as he attempts to shot him three times but was dodged and he manages to hit him in three blows and brutally knocks him down on the rooftop fence, falling to his death. Rage calmly apologizes to his grandfather stating to him that he was a strong person and Garuda smiles seeing him that he still has his respect to him.

When Garuda was taken to an ambulance for treatment, Rage loses unconscious due to fatigue making both Retsu and Emi are worried to him. After the incident, he reunites with his grandfather and tells him that he maybe win in that competition but he manages to help reclaim his institute. Garuda gives him the check which is a worth of three hundred thousand yen due to him as the MVP of the game and Rage became happy to him.

DDRMAX:
"I know there's more to come after him. We have to be ready, Retsu. Cause if these guys are trying to kill him? We'll protect him by them." 
-Rage to Retsu who becomes vigilant to protect the true dance king, Afro.

Rage returns in DDRMAX as he along with the other dancing characters appear as a cameo in some of the background music of the game.

Rage was wandering at the city after taking a solo flight in practice dancing alone to improve his dance moves. He actually let his girlfriend to have a two week vacation to her family and can't practice in Burning Dome all by himself. He later takes his best friend Retsu to practice dancing until he discovers Retsu can dance but was grounded by his parents due to his studies. He and Retsu noticed a men in black is gone after Afro, after the latter gives Retsu an advice.

The two discovers those men in black are trying to assassinate Afro and both manages to dispatch them in time. Retsu discovers that these men are different than John's men but having the eagle emblem on their jackets. Rage knows Afro is in great danger and determines to fight his new adversaries from the Eagle Eye Organization founded by Schubert Reinrich.

In the episode "Beach Day in Okinawa", Rage was having a good time with Izam, Retsu and Spike but being asked by his grandfather to challenge Baby-Lon to a dance contest which determines who's the good dancer. However, after the dance practice he made with Baby-Lon. He and his group saw both Maho and Garuda are having a conversation and Maho reveals to him that Rage fights against the Eagle Eye Organization. He was confronted by his grandfather and angrily wanted to know if he's fighting against the organization. Rage angrily admits the truth knowing that Afro is in danger but letting Baby-Lon cry from his temper. Garuda angrily scolds Rage for not informing him until Schubert's men are here to assassinate Afro. He with Izam and Retsu are trying his best to deal against the assassins as Garuda arrives to aid them and orders Robo2001 to dispatch other assassins. Now his grandfather is in their side, they wanted to put an end of an organization once and for all.

In the episode "Rage's Desperate Fight", Rage has been targeted by Schubert by ordering his right hand man, Rupert. While on his way back to his apartment, he was attacked by Rupert as he dodges his punch by the time he was cornered by him. They went into a intense brawl but Rupert manages to sprain Rage's left arm by grappling him down. He was later saved by his grandfather, Garuda as Retsu takes him to safety in his injured state.

Rage does not want to lose a fight as he left the tower to deal Rupert despite he's being targeted. He was confronted again by Rupert. Due to his injured arm, he would be outmatched by him if he grapples him again. With nothing else left, he dances with female dance moves as Rupert tries to knock him down but dodges as he knee smashed him to the groin and goes for a powerful kick. Rupert knows that he was outsmarting him as he angrily gives in to his frustrations he tries to hit him but dodges as he countered with his right arm and countering it with a powerful kick knocking the brute down in a critical state. Garuda and Retsu arrives before Rage defeats Rupert and he angrily kicks his butt from his stubbornness making both are bickering each other. Retsu noticed that Rupert has already escaped in his critical state.

"That's far enough, you bastard. You're trying to kill the dance king and now you hurt my grandfather. I won't let you get away with this!" 
-Rage to Schubert before he knocks him through the wall with three blows with a powerful straight punch.

In the near end of DDRMAX during the one week Japan Day festival, where Rage and the group infiltrates the main building as well as the back side of the auditorium in EMTI, he finally confronted again by Rupert as they go in an intense brawl. His left arm causes to have cramps making a disadvantage. He wasn't given up the fight as he removes the right half of his gi and he dances with his own moves. Rupert states that he does not fall for his tricks. Without warning, Rage manages to defeat him and was knocked out cold. He states that dancing is not a trick but a great distraction to the enemy. Instead to have a 6th Competition, it changes into a theater play where he tries to warn his grandfather but he's not listening due to the play and he has no choice. He actually warns him during the intermission.

When Schubert shoots his gun in a warning shot making all the audience flee. Garuda tries to protect Afro and finally reveals to him that he was targeted by Schubert and his men. Both Garuda and Schubert are fighting an intense bout and Garuda finally gives an upper hand against the founder. Schubert was desperate to kill Afro, Garuda manages to save him by tackling him as he was shot to his back. Rage angrily loses his temper after seeing his grandfather being shot, he quickly charges at Schubert with an uppercut in two punches and a kick and ultimately knocks him through the wall with a powerful punch. He was worried to his grandfather as he reveals to them that he wore a bulletproof vest just in case if he anyone would shoot him with a gun. After Schubert is arrested and the fall of his organization, he sends some pictures with his friends are having a good time in Japan Day festival to his girlfriend, Emi and he and Izam are seen competing in the DDRMAX game much to both Retsu and Spike's disappointment.  

DDRMAX2: 
"Sounds like this competition is getting tougher than the previous one. We need to prepare this, Ems. This competition is going to be a rough one." 
-Rage to Emi before the MAX competition.

Rage returns as one of the playable characters in the game as his appearance in the console version is his 3rdMIX outfit. However in Break Down and Sweet Sweet Magic, he appears as a cameo in the background music in his 5thMIX outfit. He and Emi now competes against the downloadable characters in DDR PC.

Rage was happy to see Emi returns home after her two week family vacation and they practiced dancing in the other day and knowing there's a MAX competition is held in a two weeks time. Both eventually enters the competition to win like in the 3rd Competition.

However prior to the competition, he was attacked by a man named Izzy who incapacitates him with his modified knives as he leaves him in critical injured. He was later found by his grandfather who treats his serious injuries and warns both Retsu and Emi about Izzy.

After recovering from his injuries they finally competed in the MAX competition and defeats numerous teams as they make it in the finals against Team Silver led by Izzy and Sylvia (as her partner Rico was absent at that time). Izzy tells Rage whoever gets the lowest grades it will incapacitate each of their partners with his knives making their fight in a do or die competition. Team Burning manages to defeat Team Silver and Izzy begins to suffer from his body and angrily leaves the scene. Rage tells his grandfather and Retsu to take care of Emi who is injured after she was incapacitated from one of Izzy's knives due to her low grades on her performance. He angrily pursues Izzy for his actions and corners him in the roof of the building.

"No way... Krueger you're still alive, ugh!"
 -Rage to John's spirit in his injured state.

Rage fights Izzy in a deadly bout as Izzy throws a multitude of knives towards him. Rage tries to dodge the knives but being grazed from it. Izzy has no match for him as he unleashes a multitude of explosive knives which he injures him from the very beginning as he threw it to Rage as he attempts to dodge most of his knives as it explodes leaving him in critical injured (His dark red jacket is destroyed from his explosion and his clothes are in tatters). When he is outmatched by Izzy and is about to finish him with his knives, Izzy's psyche begins to regain control of his body as John Krueger's spirit emerges leaving the latter fell unconscious. Rage discovers John's spirit was in Izzy's body all along as his grandfather noticed this. John finally tells him it was his revenge for killing him during the infiltration in EMTI and tries to attack him only to be blocked by his late uncle who hunts John's spirit to be taken in hell.

After John's spirit and his late uncle was finally put to rest, Izzy wakes up and to see Rage who is severely injured by him. He bursts into tears after what he had done and Rage tells him that he does not need to blame for what he did knowing that it was someone else who possessed him as he takes Izzy back to the ground floor and reunites with Emi and the others but was punched in the head by his grandfather for leaving them behind. After that Rage continues to hang out with Retsu and Emi in Burning Dome.

DDR EXTREME:
"This fight is gonna make me cranky. I'm not gonna tolerate to see you hurt innocent people!"
-Rage to Keires after an encounter to victimize the first victim.

Rage returns in DDR EXTREME as one of the playable characters in the game as his appearance in the console version was his 5thMIX outfit. In the fan anime series, he wears his 4thMIX outfit in the first half while in the second half was his 5thMIX outfit.

Rage and Emi continues to practice their dance moves in Burning Dome as they encounter Retsu in a new get up while playing fighting games. Therefore, the trio encounters a hostile named Keires who victimizes his first victim by releasing the melodic heart crystal from their bodies. Rage does not forgive him for hurting innocent people he manage to defeat him and both Emi and Retsu examines the heart crystal and its not pure and returns back to its owner. The trio goes to EMTI and Garuda warns them about their new adversaries who were hunting the pure melodic heart crystal.

When the EXTREME competition is announced, they enter the competition in hopes of winning. During the competition, one of the assailants manages to hit Emi with a heart shotgun as her pure melodic heart is released much to Rage's horrible shock. Her pure heart is later taken by them and Rage screams her name in anguish as Team Burning withdraws from the competition. While Emi has been hospitalized in a near-death state, Rage set his quest to get her heart crystal back with Retsu, Kari, Izam, Akira and Yuni in his side. He wants to take revenge against the assailants who take her heart away.

"I'll never forgive you for hurting my girlfriend. I'll stop you even if I risk my life for her. I'll finish you off!"
-Rage to Yukihime before delivering the final blow.

Garuda discovers the mastermind behind these attacks is Yukihime an ice maiden who is broken hearted by her love with one man and it was her motives to find the pure melodic heart.

When Retsu and the others were in freezing state, Rage tries his best to stop the ice maiden but ends up being hurt by her. In his subconscious, he meets both his late uncle and his grandmother who actually gave him some advice and she gives him the flute.

With no other choice, he plays the flute as Yukihime is hurting her ears due to the sound of the flute as Emi's pure melodic heart was released as he and his grandfather weakens her with the help of his heatwave invention and Retsu and the others are free from being frozen. He never forgives her for hurting Emi and finally delivers a final blow to the ice maiden and she dissipates into dust. Rage finally retrieves Emi's pure melodic heart and returns back to its owner and leave as Garuda later informs her about what happened to him.

DDR Party Collection:
"Prepared to get smacked down, you ninja freaks! I'm not gonna tolerate for hurting my friend any longer!"
-Rage to the Iwamoto clan after an ambush to Retsu.

Rage returns in DDR Party Collection as a playable character and can chose him in three of his outfits with his 3rdMIX, 4thMIX and 5thMIX outfits. In the fan anime series, he wears his 4thMIX outfit in the first half and the finale and his 5thMIX outfit in the second half. The outfit he wears is similar in DDR EXTREME.

Rage with Retsu and Izam are practice dancing in Burning Dome as both he and Izam angrily bickering each other in whoever is the pro in dancing and Retsu was ambushed by the ninjas rendering him severely injured. This makes Rage get angry to them and manage to defeat the ninja before fleeing. Later Garuda warns them about the family clan which is why Retsu has been attacked by the clan and his family is one of the clan.

Rage serves as a back up for Retsu when they meet his parents in his hometown in Kyoto and Retsu's father, Tetsuro knows the culprit behind those attacks.

"Don't ever underestimate me, Blues. I maybe injured by these deadly obstacles, I have to win for the sake of my friends who supported me!"
-Rage to Blues during the Hyper Dash obstacle course.

When the Hyper Dash was introduced as an obstacle course since the previous one, Rage wanted to compete against Blues when Emi, Retsu and Rhythm are watching as audience. They competed and they avoid every single obstacle which is one of his grandfather's deadly inventions. Rage barely survives from the obstacle and was seriously injured. Blues tells him to give up, but he refuses to give up stating that he will win for his friends' sake. He and Blues continuous to compete and he emerge victorious. He is later weaken from his injuries and he tries to recover in three days.

During the dance tournament when Team Burning face off against Team Best which consists of both Akira and Yuni. Therefore their fight was disrupted by the Gozaburo ninja clan tries to destroy the competition only to be foiled by Garuda with Tetsuro and fellow family clans. Garuda then sends them to infiltrate the Susanoo household and manages to dispatch the head of the family by removing the dark crystal in the back of their necks.

After they defeat Team Special in the dance tournament, Garuda sends them again to the Tsukihime household which Minamoto Tsukihime is behind the attacks on the other family clans. Rage was unaware that Retsu is gonna leave Japan for his OJT in the United States as he fights against Minamoto in a sword fight showdown. Rage noticed Minamoto is a formidable swordsman despite the injury he was inflicted by him. He manages to dodge most of his sword attacks and finally defeats him with a straight punch and a powerful kick to the face after he throw his sword to him as a distraction.

"Retsu, you should tell me if you're gonna leave!" 
-Rage to Retsu before he leaves Japan to United States during the finale.

After the fall of the Tsukihime clan, Rage receives a message from Emi's cellphone as he finally realizes Retsu is going to leave Japan. He quickly goes to EMTI to asks his grandfather where he is. Garuda tells him that Retsu is in the airport as he leaves. By the time he went through the airport with Emi, Kari, Izam, Akira and Yuni in his side. They finally found Retsu who is ready to travel in United States. Rage angrily scolds his best friend for not informing him and Retsu replies that he's going to have an OJT there and promises to come back in a week making him hopeful.

DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE
 "With that kind of behavior, you're just remind me of someone that I knew who hated me so much? But I won't let you get away for kidnapping a woman who does not do anything to you and your pirate crew."
-Rage to J.C. reminding him as Izam after he and Retsu rescue Bass from his pirate crew.

Rage returns in DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE as a playable character along with his alternate appearance and his primary outfit is his 5thMIX outfit. In the fan anime series, he wears this outfit and the final episode and in later episodes he was seen in different outfits where he appears in Ultramix and Universe series of games. He and Emi are now competing against new characters in this game along with the characters appear in Ultramix and Universe series.



Rage along with Beechum and Train to wait for Retsu in his arrival after a week of travel to the United States as he finally reunites with him. Both heard another threat is happening in the city and this time a mafia organization who hires contract assassins to kill the victims. His grandfather was acquainted with a chairman of the recording company named Drum who was first targeted by the mafia organization which he was informed by the employee and partner of Drum, Bass. They managed to save Drum from being assassinated as they take down the assassins and later his grandfather aids him to stop them. Drum became thankful for saving him and decides to join up with them to find the vital information about the mafia organization who targets him.

Therefore when Drum's employee, Bass was kidnapped by a group of pirates led by a pirate captain J.C. and his assistant Saja, Garuda sends him and Retsu to rescue Bass. Both discovers a pirate ship which is parked in the center of the bay near the port. Both manage to rescue her as they dispatch the pirates. Rage let Retsu and Bass to make a getaway as he was confronted by J.C. who wields a saber. Both clashes in a sword fight and Rage manages to defeat him stating that his behavior reminds him of his rival Izam who hates him and not letting get away for kidnapping Bass and challenge him to a dance competition. He was later targeted by the mafia organization in the seventh episode where Retsu protects him from being assassinated by them.

Later, Garuda and Naoki sponsored the second EXTREME competition which is the last competition for the pairs. Throughout the episodes, Rage and the group save the people from being assassinated which is the competitors in the second EXTREME competition. During the finals in the second EXTREME competition where they competing against Team Drum and Bass, they were unaware that the mafia organization are here to target his grandfather, Garuda as Liana saves him and was shot to the back resulting both teams ended up in a draw. 

"Let's put that mafia organization down to their knees!" 
-Rage to his group wanted to put an end of the mafia organization. 

Both Garuda and Drum decided to put an end of the mafia organization as they send Rage and the group in Honshu as Drum gives them the map location of their base until Afro's arrival to join with them. They infiltrate their base as Rage fights off against the founder and leader of the mafia organization, Katsuhiro Morishige in a valiant fight and Rage manages to defeat him as he makes a straight punch to his groin sending him falling through the wall, knocking unconscious.

After the fall of the mafia organization, he and Akira enters the graduation ceremony where Retsu is graduated in EMTI. In the epilogue scene, Rage finally say goodbye to Retsu before departing back in the United States as they cross arms.

DDR SuperNOVA movie and TV series
"No problem yo! I practice everyday. My dance moves are hotter than Takoyaki!!"
-Rage to Emi after asking him about dancing while cooking his homemade takoyaki.


In DDR SuperNOVA movie which takes place one year and three months after DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE and according to his character profile in SuperNOVA and his SMM in DDR X, Rage does not want to go to his family business so he decides to leave Japan to strike out on his own business. He lives in the dormitory along with Beechum in New York to work odd jobs and as a local street dancer at night.

He was informed by his grandfather about the terrorists who terrorize the city in New York and knowing that another danger is about to happen. He tries making takoyaki for his mates and they loved it. He wishes to have a takoyaki restaurant when he realizes his American Dream and Emi arrives to visit him and becomes worried to him about dancing as he replies that he practiced dancing everyday and it's hotter than takoyaki.

Later on, he was cornered by the members of the terrorist organization and he managed to dispatch them. When he tries to beat one of them, a man blocks his punch and he was two inches taller than him. Rage easily recognizes the person who blocked him was his best friend Retsu as his mates calling him as "Hugo Stockwell" as he escapes with his mates. Rage decides to set out alone to find his best friend.

"Why did you do this, Retsu? Didn't you forget our friendship with me and Emi together? How could you do this to us like that!?" 
-Rage to Retsu after they street fight in the rain.

Kari informs Rage that Retsu is working with the terrorist organization and always hanging out on the bar lounge. With this information, Rage goes to find Retsu at the bar lounge. He later found Gus at the bar lounge after he let Retsu to escape at the back door. He manages to corner him as it rains due to thunderstorms. Both he and Retsu are having a street fight and Gus discovers to see them fighting as Rage manages to defeat him as he grabs the collar of his buttoned shirt trying to know why he is working in the enemy's organization as he admits that he's taking undercover as a CIA agent so that he can hack directly the enemy's motives. Rage becomes angry to this, and he removes his red and blue cap angrily tells him why he did it and why he forgotten his friendship with him and Emi. Retsu replies that he did this after he left Japan to forget them and to focus his work as a CIA agent. With this, Rage apparently leaves finally spares his life in a meantime.

When the SuperNOVA competition is announced, Rage is ready to compete only it was disrupted by the terrorist organization. However, the enemy discovers Retsu's treachery who works as an undercover CIA agent. Emi tries to put everyone to safety due to their rampage as Rage hears Retsu's voice telling him to hit the core of it's machine as he successfully do it. After the terrorists were arrested, Rage and Emi were happy that it was over and Afro finally announced the competition was suspended. Rage noticed Retsu is watching them which makes the latter quickly leaves noticing his cold and distant side of him.

"Now's my chance! I need to test my dance moves with this dance contest!!"
-Rage before the SuperNOVA competition. 

In the TV series, the terrorist organization continues to terrorize the city again. Garuda informs him that these terrorists who were arrested after the incident are just members of the terrorist organization. Their leader, Marcus Cavanaugh is responsible for the cause. Garuda sponsors the SuperNOVA competition where it was suspended after the incident has finally reopened and Rage finally enters to test his newly improved dance moves. In a few episodes, he was saved by Retsu who secretly aids him against the terrorist organization but maintains his cold and distant towards him until he rejoins with him and Emi after he apologizes them for his embittered actions due to him being targeted by the organization. 

He competes at the competition defeating most of his competitors including his girlfriend, Emi. Only to be defeated by Afro in the finals which he makes a rivalry towards him. Garuda tells him that he is below Afro and needs to train harder. Marcus then makes another rampage in the city after the competition. He and Retsu deals most of the Marcus' men as they manages to arrest Marcus by the time Rage accidentally destroys the machine with his fighting style. After the fall of the terrorist organization, he with Emi and Retsu are watching the opening ceremony of the newly opened Disco Town where Afro founded his own town as a big enterpreneur and his grandfather was one of the sponsors.

SuperNOVA2
 "I'm not gonna lose this competition. I'm gonna win this for real!"
-Rage before the second SuperNOVA competition.


In DDR SuperNOVA2, Rage returns as a playable character in the game as he keeps his SuperNOVA outfit. He now has his alternate appearace has him not wearing the red and blue cap and his hair is cut short but with short spikes. He now faces both Yuni and Alice the returning characters and the new characters, Julio, Dark Zukin and Consent Kyo-fU.  In the fan anime series, his alternate outfit is his battle outfit throughout the episodes and later as his casual and battle outfit in DDR X.

Rage practices his dance moves as a local street dancer and always talking to Emi with his computer via Skype. He compliments Emi for winning the robot competition with her robot creation Consent Be-fU. His grandfather informs him about another dance competition is about to held in Disco Town. Rage was confident to compete in the competition which is called the second SuperNOVA competition. Garuda tells him that he was not the one who sponsored this competition but from an organization called the Heartless. However this organization is very ruthless than the previous one and Rage senses that Retsu is also dealing with the same organization. 

"I've been experienced fighting with those ninjas after he attacked my best friend from behind, Julio. If you wanna fight me go right ahead and attack me?!"
 -Rage to Julio after knocking him with a powerful kick while being smoked bomb by him.


In the episode "The Young Black Ninja", Garuda sends Rage to meet up with Retsu in the streets in Disco Town and Retsu mistakes him as a snatching thief who wanted to arrest him due to his get up. Both went to the island hideaway which is lived by only one person and they were attacked by ninja shurikens. Both him and Retsu discover a house where it was full of ninja weapons and it's collectibles and knowing of it's morse code and Fukiya and Rage noticed only one person who attacked them on purpose and they were caught by a twelve year old boy named Julio.

By the time they meet him, they easily found out that Julio is attacking them and Retsu wants to fight the kid but was defeated. Rage noticed his fighting style was Ju-Jutsu and seeing that he was very aggresive. Julio challenges him in a fight as Rage calmly accepts and the two had a fight much to Retsu's shock and disdain. When he was smoked bombed by Julio, Rage closes his eyes knowing that someone who distracts him with this trick and he manages to knock him with two blows. As the smoke clears, Julio was knocked down by him and Rage was confident by this stating that he experience this ninja attacks and challenge Julio and both exchanging their blows and defeats Julio in a process and asking him what's his fighting style and Rage replies his fighting style is Lightning Kickboxing as he translates in Japanese as Resshuken much to Julio's surprise.

After the fight, they're protecting him from black ops coming from the Heartless organization and Julio tells him that his parents are forced to work with this organization. With that he and Retsu defeats the black ops and saves Julio from being assassinated and the latter decides to join with them and stating that he knows everything in Japan and Retsu states that he's a hyperactive kid who extensively researched about Japan and tells him that if he wants to see the country in Japan. He has to travel it by plane.

"Wow... I've never seen the founder is totally a copycat. I never thought this Zukin is a darker version of Robo-Zukin. Time to smash this robot into a scrap metal."
-Rage to Dark Zukin as he comments something about Riko Kishio's creations.


After the competition where he defeats Yuni in the finals, he was later informed by his grandfather, Garuda about Emi's robot had been stolen and discovers one of his lab scientists was the founder of the Heartless organization named Riko Kishio. He and the group finally infiltrates the organization as Garuda aids them as well. When his grandfather are having a brawl with Riko who formerly worked with him, Rage fights off against Dark-Zukin as he comments something about his creations as he fights off against the robot.

At the fall of the Heartless organization and Emi finally retrieves her robot creation, he and Retsu parted ways and returning back as a local street dancer. He later cooks his homemade takoyaki to his mates one last time and they loved it and they wanted more. Beechum noticed how they like his homemade takoyaki and tells Rage to make his takoyaki as his own business. Since he hardly keep up most of his mates' requests and it really hit him. Rage finally agrees to make his takoyaki as his business and finally sets out on his own quest to make his takoyaki famous. (This is based on his prologue on his Street Master Mode in DDR X).

DDR X
"I'm gonna beat the crap outta you, you big ugly brute! For destroying my takoyaki stand and my business!"
-Rage to the brute terrorist after he destroys his takoyaki stand in the pilot episode.


Rage returns in DDR X as a playable character in the game as both his SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA2 outfits are also playable. He is now seen wearing a mixture of both of his primary outfits and wears a hood from his white sleeveless hoodie jacket. He now works as a popular takoyaki chef in his own takoyaki business and as a street dancer which takes place in their appearances in Street Master Mode as well as competiting the new characters, Zero, Bonnie, Queen-Zukin and Louis-Consent III.

Rage is now the popular takoyaki chef who's selling takoyaki throughout Disco Town as Yuni also mentions about the new fastfood stand, he started up his business by selling his takoyaki from his stand at the Revolution Park. As his takoyaki business goes booming, he moved his takoyaki stand to MAX Carnival where other people would buy his takoyaki there at the amusement park. It really hit him when everyone tastes his takoyaki.

In the pilot episode of the series, he was helped by Beechum due to many customers are buying his takoyaki in the carnival until a person disguised as one of the customers appear to buy his takoyaki and warns that someone would attack him. Rage angrily annoys from his words and reminisicing someone that he knew who snobbishly speaks about his temper. The next day, the person who warns him earlier was actually true and a brute terrorist tries to attacked him from behind. Rage tries to stop the brute from messing the amusement park and not knowing the brute terrorist is targeting him. The person from yesterday arrive and shoots the brute terrorist with his gun and the brute quickly destroys his takoyaki stand. Seeing his stand is destroyed and ruining his business, Rage angrily beats the brute terrorist with a knee to the groin and a powerful kick to the face knocking the brute to the ground. The person who warns him about him being attacked by the brute was actually his best friend Retsu in disguise much to his surprise.

After his takoyaki stand was repaired and it's premises by the U.S. Government, he was taken by Retsu in Extra MALL while Beechum is cooking his famous takoyaki in charge. Retsu reveals to him that he was promoted to become a federal agent from the U.S. Government under the intelligence division and tries to take down another terrorist organization. He also informs him that the person he attacked him previously was one of the members of the terrorist organization called X-Pac where they made their victims to become as suicide bombers. Rage does not forgive them for messing his takoyaki stand and his business and both noticed Gus was their next target as they later saved him.

In the episode "Disco Party Crashers" which takes place between him and Emi are competing each other on both of their appearances in Street Master Mode. Emi tells Rage that she was invited in Afro's party and wants to try his takoyaki for free. Rage then urges her to buy it and she replies that he doesn't have to be so cheap. Retsu noticed Emi pays him for his takoyaki after she was outdanced by him and Rage scolds her for being the first time she was paying him and Retsu also scolds him for mistreating his girlfriend. He also warns that she was the next target by the X-Pac organization. Meanwhile, as he continues to cook his takoyaki. He saw Emi in her party attire and comments something about her party dress. Emi tells him that she's going to the party. Rage wanted to go to Afro's party but with his takoyaki stand. He angrily states that the party that she's attending was actually true and Emi states that everybody can look good on the right clothes as the latter didn't say anything as she left the carnival. Retsu and Julio arrives to see him and informs him that the enemy is already there and Rage goes with them.

By the time Emi is about to attacked by the one of the members of the X-Pac terrorists during Afro's party, she was rescued by Rage in his party attire by punching his enemy to the face knocking him down. Everyone sees the terrorists are trying to tear up the party as they flee. With that, Rage manages to dispatch the terrorist as the other two fled the scene only to be defeated by both Retsu and Julio. Afro's party was later suspended due to the enemy's attack and Rage finally takes Emi back to the carnival which was close at late morning, he finally apologizes for mistreating her earlier as he cooks his famous takoyaki for free in return, much to Emi's delight as Retsu, Beechum and Julio watch them from behind and Julio asks Retsu how those two are been together and Retsu replies that they are the last year couple when they formed their own team as Team Burning and knowing that Rage remains faithful to his girlfriend after saving her life when she is in danger. 

When his grandfather Garuda arrive to see him in seven episodes, he visits in the museum at Washington D.C. for the robot exhibit and he spars Julio much to their surprise. After the spar, he informs him about the X-Pac organization and their motives and this is Retsu's mission to take down the organization and to protect the people who were targeted by them. Rage was helped by his grandfather to release Louis-Consent III in the museum with the help of Retsu, Emi, Julio and Alice due to him as a alive robot.

Later on, Garuda takes him to the similiation room where Retsu was heavily trained by fellow federal agents in combat. Rage manages to pass the similation but was defeated by his grandfather when they exchange their blows. Upon his training succeeds, his grandfather collapsed in exhaustion making him worried as he takes him to the hospital. 

 "Hey, Bob. I've never seen the sushi chef in Japan who becomes a total loser in the cooking competition! You wanna piece of me! Now come and get me!!"
-Rage to Sushi Bob who remarks him as a loser chef in the culinary competition making the latter orders his giant octopus sushi to take him down.

In the episode "Battle of the Chefs, Sushi versus Takoyaki", Johnny informs Rage about the man named Sushi Bob a sushi chef who takes revenge by destroying the sushi restaurants all over United States due to his loss in the culinary competition who was previously dispatched by three female spies from a different government organization and was released in prison for good conduct but he takes his vengeance by destroying any Japanese restaurant including selling Japanese street foods after he was rejected to get a business permit and was ridiculed by many due to him being a former convict. Rage receives Sushi Bob's sizer gun from the wreckage of his sushi restaurant after being discovered by Gus before he attacks them with his giant octopus sushis and escape and his gun gives it to Garuda who stated that his sizer gun is made of advance technology, leading him to summon Queen-Zukin to help him make a powerful invention.

With the help of Afro, Queen-Zukin, Gus and Garuda with his powerful soundwave invention, Rage manages to distract Sushi Bob and angrily remarks about him being a loser in the culinary competition and Sushi Bob orders his three giant octopus sushis by whipping with it's tentacles as he manages to dodge with a distraction made by him and he leaps and activates his button from his sneakers to form ice skate blades due to their slippery skin and rushes through the octopus tentacles and knocks Sushi Bob with a powerful punch and deactivates the skates from his sneakers by landing him a powerful downward kick to the ground and the three giant octopus sushis is reverted back to normal food from his grandfather's soundwave invention after it was moved in their trap, much to his Sushi Bob's horror and to Rage's relief. Sushi Bob quickly flees as both Rage and Retsu are after him only to be distracted by Zero who shows his aloof personality and Rage angrily beats him with several punches and a straight kick and a powerful roundhouse kick and knocks him down with a powerful straight punch to his face and Sushi Bob was defeated, breaking his frontal teeth.     

Back at MAX Carnival before his grandfather's leave back to Japan, Rage's takoyaki business is very successful as Gus becomes the guest in the live show. Rage requests him the song for his succeeding business and he was reunited by both Emi and Retsu. The X-Pac terrorists tries to go after Louis-Concent III despite he's a robot. Garuda protects them as he dispatches them. After defeating Gus in a dance contest, The trio noticed something trouble in the carnival as they found Garuda is exhausted. Rage saves his grandfather as both continued to fight head on against the X-Pac soldiers. After the incident with the aid of Retsu, Emi and Gus, Garuda tastes the takoyaki that he was making and reminiscing the days where he founded his school EMTI and compliments that his parents would be proud to see him having his own business. Rage tells him that he wants to act like he did on his prime and Garuda replies that he has to keep up his business and was very proud of him.

When he finishes his own quest to make his takoyaki famous, He with Emi, Retsu, Julio and Yuni assemble in Yuni's mansion where Afro and Garuda are inside. Garuda gives them the map that leads to X-Pac organization led by General Kharam Ishthar. Both of them wanted to stop the organization from making chaos in the whole country and Rage decides to stop them once and for all.  During the infiltration, he and his group were aided by Gus and Zero and later Garuda, Queen-Zukin and Akira.

After the fall of X-Pac organization, Rage was asked by Afro to cater his takoyaki to his party and he agrees and asking if he tries his takoyaki. Afro replies that is no need and finally gives advice to him saying that if he cooks like he is dancing and it's got to be good. Rage angrily thanked Afro for the advice and he will make sure he'll get all they can eat in the party. When Afro leaves the carnival, Retsu, Emi and Julio arrive to see him and knowing that he likes to enjoy the party and Beechum tells him that he can go to the party as he wanted to once he cooks the takoyaki with the party goers in Afro's party. In Afro's party, His takoyaki business becomes a bigger hit and other times he forgot to charge money for them. He was joined up by Emi and Beechum tells him to go with them and they move and groove and everyone enjoys the party.

DDR X2
"I'm getting trouble balancing between both my takoyaki business and being a back-up dancer for the famous artist. What should I do now? I have to do something about the two?"
-Rage who is troubled in both of his takoyaki business and his new job.

Rage returns in DDR X2 as his appearance is changed where he cuts his hair shorter and wears a black fedora hat and a new outfit in the arcade version. In the console version he maintains wearing his X outfit. In the fan anime series, He wears his X outfit in earlier episodes until he wears his X2 outfit. He continues his takoyaki business and was chosen to become a back-up dancer for the famous artist. This takes place after DDR X and it was based on DDR II.

Rage's takoyaki business was taken off and a lot of customers are buying for him. Until the manager from the famous artist came to see him. The manager chose him as a back-up dancer for his famous artists and Rage simply accepts and Beechum was happy to see him being chose.

When Retsu had his new haircut, Emi was surprised to see him and Rage dislikes to had his hair to be cut off only to be scolded by her and wants to see him in a nice haircut. Back to his dormitory, Rage becomes troubled to balance on both of his jobs even his girlfriend wants to fix himself up. Since he chose to go as a back-up dancer for the famous artist, he decides to have his haircut to impress Emi. Emi was happy to see him in his new haircut and Rage smiles and stating to her that she wants him to make him a good-looking man and Retsu accepts his new haircut knowing that both of them would make the girls gone crazy on their looks. He decides to return back to Japan to visit his grandfather and Retsu and Emi decides to go with him.

Back in Japan he visits his grandfather Garuda to his tower and was impress to see him on his new haircut. He tells him that Emi wants him to make him a good-looking person and Garuda accepts it. He with his grandfather and Retsu went to the crash site and they found a female miniatured robot which they mentioned in the news as the meteor. The robot finally introduces as Rinon when his grandfather fixes her up.  Rinon also warns about the Replicants who are the replica versions of herself and knowing that the "Dark One" plans to invade the Earth.

"Hey don't mess my grandfather's lab, you robo-V. I guess I need to knock some sense into you!" 
-Rage to Victory Consent after he infiltrates his grandfather's underground facility.


In the one of the filler episodes, he and his grandfather returns in EMTI and they discover another Konsento model is infiltrating his underground facility. Emi warns them that he was hostile and Rage confronts the robot named Victory Concent and he easily manages to defeat the robot as Garuda fixes him up and corrects him that it was his underground facility where he make robotics. Victory Consent apologizes and he tells them that he fights against evil doers and it's organization as he detects his facility is similar to the organization and decides to join up with Garuda much to their surprise.

Rage now works as a back-up dancer for the famous artists as he shows his dance moves to the audience. He was also surprised to see his girlfriend had passed the dance audition. After it was done, he was ambushed by Rinon and he remembers what the real Rinon told them about the Replicants. He discovers the Rinon that he sees have different colors which turn out to be Replicants and Rage manages to dispatch them and seeing them in multitude, he was rescued by Retsu in his new outfit as they escape the onslaught.

"It's time to stop those Replicants and to save them from invading my hometown." 
-Rage to his group before fighting against the Replicants in Tokyo.

Rage fights off against the Replicants who are invading at his hometown in Shinjuku, Tokyo and Garuda and Rinon aids them to fight against them. After the Replicants were destroyed and defeated, Dark Rinon emerges and Rinon saw how she strongly hates her. She warns them that this fight is not yet over as she leaves with the remaining Replicants back to space. Rage knows this fight isn't over and he looked to see his grandfather gains a friendly bond with Rinon. He smiles to see him he was very caring to the robot knowing that her span is like a child from a baby just like Maho took care of her son, Baby-Lon.

DDR X3
"Okay yo! I'm gonna be the leader one last time. It's time to put an end of Dark Rinon's invasion!"
-Rage to his grandfather and Afro after he appoints again as the leader of the DDR Global Protectors.

Rage returns in DDR X3 which is based on DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX as a playable character in the game while he keeps his X2 outfit. He with Emi, Retsu, Kari, Akira, Yuni, Julio and Rena are fighting against the Replicants and later enters the EX dance competition that his grandfather sponsored to fight off against Dark Rinon in the finals once they were lured to his grandfather's trap.   

Garuda and Afro forms a highly defense force against Dark Rinon and her Replicants called DDR Global Protectors and Rage was appointed again as the leader and he was rejoin by his former comrades, Emi, Retsu, Kari, Akira and Yuni. Julio and Rena wants to join up to his group as he accepts them. Dread-Snake and Janet also reunites with both Garuda and Afro to join them as well.

In one of the filler episodes, Rage becomes troubled again from balancing both of his works and he misses making his takoyaki and Rinon convinced him that someone else would help on his business while he was away. Rage noticed about Beechum and he arrives to visit him. He tells him that he's taking his place when he was pretty busy. Seeing this opportunity, Rage finally balances his jobs being a back-up dancer in the noon and a takoyaki chef in the night just like he adjusted of making jobs and as a local street dancer. He happily thanked Rinon for convincing him as she smiles and tells him that she was asked by his grandfather.

When the EX Dance competition is finally announced, he enters to win the competition and knowingly it was his grandfather's trap to lure Dark Rinon and the Replicants. He manages to defeats most of his opponents including the famous Japanese artist, Jun and now in the finals he instead faces Rinon but Dark Rinon when they dance up to the encore extra stage with the song Valkyrie Dimension. Rage manages to defeat Dark Rinon and became exhausted due to the hard stage. Dark Rinon creates a dent of dark mist causing the whole city is engulf with dark mist as Rinon protects them using the energy barrier to protect them from being engulfed in a dark mist.   

"I have friends who believe me to save everyone from being killed. I defeated a lot of stronger opponents I'd ever faced. Now I have to save the world from being invaded! This ends for you, Dark Rinon!" 
-Rage to Dark Rinon as he finish her off with a final straight thrust to her stomach.

Everyone including the DDR Global Protectors now infiltrating Darkness Space Dome where the Replicants appear in multitude but was defeated by them in the process. Garuda, Victory Consent and Rinon discover the Replicants are created by the machine called Replicant-D Machine and it activates itself by the use of Replicant D-Action. Victory Consent manages to destroy the machine causing the multitude of replicants are stopped and Rage faces off against their leader Dark Rinon. When Rage is unable to defeat her due to her speed, Rinon arrives and managed to disable Dark Rinon showing her vulnerability and Rage manages to defeat her by impaling her with a final straight thrust stating that he has friends who believed him to save everyone for being killed and defeating stronger opponents that he had faced. Afterwards, Dark Rinon was decapitated in explosion as Rinon protects him with her protective barrier.

After Dark Rinon was defeated, Rinon decides to leave Earth to inform her master as everyone is happy to see her leave. Garuda becomes emotional to see her leave and finally tells him that he's still her "master Garuda" as she smiles and departs back into space. Rage watches her leave and seeing his grandfather in tears and he tells him that there's more people to care about than Rinon as Garuda agrees knowing that he's still have his family and relatives to care for them.

DDR 2013 movie
 "Looks like it's time to mess those UFOs with some dance moves, yo! Let's dance, everyone!"
-Rage to other fellow dancers ready to dance against the UFOs.

In DDR2013 video game and it's 2014 updates, Rage is a playable character but not playable in DDR Dance Wars. Rage leads his group of back-up dancers in the noontime show with the famous artist and as a takoyaki chef at night. However it was all disrupted due to the UFO invasion called Unidentified Funky Objects. This plot is based on DDR Dance Wars.

Rage was given a three days off by the manager of the famous artists. So he decides to visit his best friend Retsu, Julio and Rena. After they separate ways with Julio and Rena, Both himself and Retsu senses something is going on until the whole country was invaded by the UFOs and it manages to destroy Disco Town. After rescuing the townsfolk were being invaded, he and Retsu are reunited with Emi, Yuni, Akira, Julio and Rena as they went through the U.S military air force base. Rage was called by his grandfather to meet him in EMTI in Japan and they hijack a plane and they travel through Japan to avoid being invaded.

Arriving at Japan they went through EMTI as Kari, Alice, Gus, The Hurley Twins, Ruby, Zero, Bonnie, Geisha-Zukin, Victory Consent, Maho, Baby-Lon and the new dancer Michael are gathered in the auditorium room with Garuda, Afro, Naoki, U1 and Jun. Garuda created his most powerful invention called the Radio type: Sound Blaster where it creates powerful soundwaves in order to destroy the fleet of UFOs called Unidentified Funky Objects. With this, Gus is able to activate the invention with his multitude of songs. as Rage leads the dancers to dance which Afro reveals to them that dancing is the only way to stop the UFOs.

During the attack against the UFOs, Emi was abducted by Gideon's men who they thought that they were UFOs and Julio found an unconscious Rena who was attacked by Emi's kidnappers. By the time they destroy the last fleet of UFOs and Emi was inside the space shuttle, they finally stop them from invading but at the expense of her life. Everyone is saddened at the expense of Emi's life which causes Rage angrily clenches his fists and cries in anguish at the death of his girlfriend as he stomps away angrily leaving with Afro to deal with it.

He angrily punches the wall after losing his girlfriend as tears are dripping from his eyes. Retsu arrives to comfort him and became suspicious to see the UFOs. Therefore, Julio and Rena arrive to see them and Rena tells them that Emi was abducted by two men. Retsu finally noticed something suspicious behind the scenes and Rage becomes determined knowing that his girlfriend is still alive and he has no choice but to save her. He heads out to the underground facility where he hijacks the Rocket Space Jet 5000 as Retsu arrives and knowing that Emi is also his friend and Rage decides to take him until Akira came to see them and wants to aid them as well. He was told by Yuni to help both of them knowing that Emi is still alive and so they hijack the space jet as it takes off and Garuda becomes infuriated by this.

The trio discovers the UFOs that they were fighting are coming from the space station as they went inside the station. With this, they infiltrate the space station as Akira remains to stay in the space jet as both Rage and Retsu continue to infiltrate the space station. Both discovers the UFOs that they defeated are the antagonistic clones of the original aliens that were abducted by lab scientists and it's chief was none other than Gideon. Garuda's arch-rival from DDR 5thMIX. Now they found out the real culprit, Rage was tackled by Retsu as he was hit from a stun rod. He noticed Emi was actually alive who hits Retsu with a stun rod and finally hugged her at last. He angrily scolds her from making her worried and Emi tells them that Gideon is behind the alien invasion. The trio went throught the control room to make a signal in EMTI's underground facility. He was later scolded by his grandfather, Garuda from hijacking the space jet and Emi explains to them everything. After Garuda found out that his rival Gideon is behind everything. He manages to hack the systems on his space station in time knowing that Gideon's motive of revenge is to kill him along it's inhabitants in Earth after he previously imprisioned him from his actions.

"Seems like you and I are gonna fight, old man? Not just like the last time that my grandfather beat you. But I'll never forgive you for kidnapping my girlfriend for your own purpose. Now I'm gonna beat the crap outta you!!" 
-Rage to Gideon who pilots his robot gear before their intensive fight.

When the trio wants to escape after defeating Gideon's men, Gideon finally confronts them while piloting his robo gear and knowing they are no match. However, Garuda hacks the computer systems and Gideon realizes the systems are been hacked by him as his voice can be heard. He instructs Rage to fight Gideon while Emi and Retsu are going to deactivate the power reactor and he's counting on them. With that, Rage becomes confident stating that he didn't face him previously but he never forgives him for kidnapping his girlfriend and Gideon gloats that he will be crushed to death as the start their ensuing fight. Rage is able to dodge most of Gideon's attacks by back flipping them as a street dancer and manage to take Gideon's gear with two devastating punch and kick combo almost knocking him down. By the time Emi and Retsu manage to deactivate the power reactor making Gideon's gear goes malfunction and he becomes desperate to kill Rage as he tries to make a straight punch but knocking off his black fedora hat while dodging and Rage manages to defeat him by knocking his gear with a final straight punch. (the same move he uses to defeat Dark Rinon). He later reunites with Emi and Retsu and knowing the self-destruct sequence is now activated. When Gideon tries to corner them with his remaining men, they manage to dispatch them and he tries to escape only to be caught by Akira who gunpoints him from behind. As they get out of his space station and exploded, Gideon warns them that they will be killed by the UFOs but Akira and Retsu manage to subdue them and he was crying in anguish.

When they arrived back to Earth, all the dancers including Afro are excited to see the four of them are okay. Garuda smiles to see them all right. Rage gladly smiles that they saved the Earth from being invaded as Emi hugs him for saving her life as he kisses her to her lips until he saw Gideon attempts to escape while in handcuffs. He points out to see him escape only to be bumped by Garuda and ends up being knocked out by him with a straight punch and he states "Now that's a straight punch, gramps!" and Garuda happily smirks and letting Gideon arrested for his crimes.

After the incident, Rage has a conversation with Emi about the last year and the present day knowing that they are changing. Emi would never forget all those times that they were partners until they parted ways for their normal lives and Rage smiles to her as he comments that they are dating together. Only to be interuppted by Retsu, Julio and Rena who is clinging towards Retsu and Emi was shocked to see Rena is with Retsu all this time. Rage wanted to tell her about this since she already found out until his cousin Kari, Akira and Yuni are here as well and Yuni tells them that don't forget that they are also here to help him. Rage then noticed a fireworks display as everyone watches while his grandfather sets up the fireworks and he smiles with Emi and his friends continue to watch the fireworks.     

DDR 2014 movie and TV series
"This is the right time to win another competition, I'm gonna show it to the world of my dance moves!" 
-Rage as he confidently enters the second EX Dance Competition.

Rage returns in DDR2014 as the plot based on the actual game DDR2013 and it's updates where he is a playable character and also the latest dance game series called Just Dance.

Three months after the UFO incident, Rage continues his job as a back-up dancer for the famous artist in every noontime shows after his return in a newly rebuild Disco Town. His back-up mates noticed a poster just posted on the wall at the backstage as it revealed to be an upcoming second EX Dance Competition. Rage confidently decides to enter to show the world of his dance moves. He later visits Afro in his outfit company "The Brand New Funk Fashion" where he was informed by him about the competition. Rage asks Afro if his grandfather is sponsoring this competition like he did previously. Afro replies that Garuda isn't sponsoring the competition but he himself. Rage was surprised by this and Afro also informs him that Garuda was abducted by an unknown assailant during his research in EMTI and is unable to contact him from his cellphone. Due to this incident, Rage decides to save his grandfather despite the risk of both his Takoyaki Business and his job as a back-up dancer. Afro also informs him that one of the assailants is competing in that competition that he sponsored.

The trio embark back to Japan to find their new adversaries who abducted his grandfather and enters in EMTI and it's secret underground facility. In his other office, Rage discovers a diary which is been kept by his grandfather in his travels as he read it. They found out it was a man named Dulton Tranza is Garuda's former colleague and is the mastermind behind the kidnapping. During the second EX Dance Competition, Rage manages to defeat Xion one of Dulton's right hand man in the competition as he warns him that every town in every places will be wiped out. He heard a sound of the explosion which Yuni noticed it was coming from her mansion.

He along with Retsu, Emi, Kari and Yuni arrived at the Verse Resthouse as Yuni was shocked that her house is engulfed in flames and Dulton's group is behind the explosion. Yuni discovers her bodyguard Akira arrives in time to see him barely alive and tells Yuni that he escorted her parents before the explosion happened as he falls unconscious due to mild concussion. Yuni determines to stop the group from terrorizing and Retsu calls the medic from his PDA to treat Akira's injuries.

"Gramps! You gotta snap out of it...! I don't want to fight you!"
-Rage to his grandfather, Garuda who is brainwashed during their fight.

Afro and Peggy tells the group about the location of Dulton's main base which is in Toronto, Canada and Rage decides to put to stop from terrorizing the United States and other countries including Japan as he leads his group to fight them which Emi, Retsu, Kari, Yuni and Julio agreed to come with him as Akira also joins the group to protect Yuni after risking his life to escort her parents to safety.

Arriving at Dulton's main base in Canada, the group were confronted by most of Dulton's soldiers as they dispatch them one by one. Rage, Retsu and Akira finally confront Dulton as the latter snap his fingers. He was shocked to see his grandfather was released and became brainwashed due to Dulton's orders with a patch at the back of his neck. He was forced to fight his grandfather and tries to snap him out from his brainwashing.

Rage manages to defeat his grandfather as Akira restrains him and Retsu finally removes the patch at the back of his neck which he was knocked unconscious. Garuda finally wakes up and finally reunites with his grandson including his friends stating that the strength of Rage's punches had woke him up from being mind control. He was later contacted by Afro and smirks that he's all right. He tells Rage that Dulton plans to terrorize the world that they live using his robot creations similar to the Replicants. He wanted to confront Dulton in EMTI but ends up being abducted by him.  He also reveals to them his reason of abducting him is to take revenge on him and his jealousy from his knowledge.

Rage and the group finally confronted Dulton while controlling his robot creation named Chaos which is different than the Konsento models. Garuda reveals to them that Dulton's creations are humanoid type of robots which is much aggressive than the previous models. Due to it's inferiority complex, Dulton activates his robot creation in auto battle mode to fight the group as Retsu, Akira, Kari, Emi and Julio fights most of his soldiers and Rage takes on the robot.

"I'm gonna beat you down like the dark robot that I've been beaten previously. You're freakin' dead?!" 
 -Rage to Chaos after mentioning Dark Zukin as he deals a vicious 10-hit combo as his final blow.

Rage fights the robot in a valiant fight and seeing that this robot can also copy most of their fighting styles. Due to Garuda's fight with Dulton, Chaos loses its power and control and become malfunctioned due to the remote control was destroyed by Garuda in an accident as he instructs Rage to finish him off which he manages to cripple the robot with a vicious 10-hit combo with several punches, a roundhouse kick and a powerful kick and crush the robot's chest with a powerful straight punch knocking him in explosion.
Dulton was unfazed to see his creation is destroyed. He warns them that his creations will be activated to terrorize the whole world. However, both Retsu and Yuni manage to hack his computer machines which leads to his arrest for terrorism and kidnapping.

After the incident, Rage and Garuda are having a conversation which he realizes to him that his travels and his vigilantism is causing a lot of his personal problems and his fellow co-workers would might become his enemies like both Gideon and Dulton due to his intellect as a scientist. He later decides to pass it to Rage his own knowledge of being a vigilante in fighting which he accepts. Rage also wants him to visit at Disco Town in Christmas' Eve which he also accepts.

"I'm glad that your back, Rinon? Gramps was worried about you being gone."
-Rage towards Rinon after she reunites with his grandfather.

In the TV series, he continues his work as a Takoyaki Chef and a back up dancer of the show. He was also surprised that Rinon is back on Earth much to his grandfather's relief. Garuda also gave him a mission to find the six orbs within the places in Japan as he agreed.  He and his group are searching for the six orbs within the Japan's islands, Kyoto, Honshu, Kyushu and Hokkaido.

After completing the six orbs, he was later called by Garuda after he discovers that Rinon was completely brainwashed by her own target; their previous enemy, Dark Rinon. He informs him and his group is to keep the six orbs from her after he discovers that Dark Rinon's plan is to invade the Earth for revenge after he previously defeats her in DDR X3. Rage was angered after he defeats her previously and she's back. Garuda tells him that Rinon is in Dark Rinon's control, if she merges the six orbs into her she will turn into Dark Rinon. Rage and the group decides to keep the six orbs before it's too late.

Garuda finally sponsored the third EX Competition in order to find Rinon who is missing in EMTI. When he fights his final opponent, Rinon was later discovered and she got the six orbs. To everyone's shock, she merges the six orbs into Dark Rinon. Rage was shocked as she merges into their enemy. She finally summons several Replicants to invade the Earth as Rage was forced to fight her in the Encore Extra Stage. After Rage defeats Dark Rinon, She also summons her spaceship as her own base in order to invade the Earth in every sight.

Garuda and Afro along with other dancers decide to stop the invasion as they take refuge in EMTI's underground facility to retaliate Dark Rinon's counterattack. Garuda also discovers, a machine similar to Replicant D-action that can stop the Replicants from being active which is the Replicant D-Ignition which everyone decides to save the Earth from the replicants one last time.

As the group confronts Dark Rinon and her Replicants, Garuda, Gus and Zero manage to find the Replicant D-Ignition as Zero destroys the machine after defeating a clone similar to Dark Rinon in the Encore Extra Stage making Dark Rinon to be diffuse with Rinon allowing the latter to weakened it long enough to make Rage defeats it for the second time.

After the Earth is saved, the manager gives Rage a big break as a back up dancer much to his surprise as Retsu and Beechum are watching him very happy as Rage decides to continue to make his takoyaki famous one more time.

DDR A
"A Dance Ace Competition? Sounds like fun... I can't wait to face them like in the third EX competition."

-Rage to Emi and Retsu after informing him about the Dance Ace Competition.

Rage returns in DDR A in his revamped appearance as the playable character as he along with Yuni, Afro and Jenny to gain new outfits while the others retain their X2 outfits. The series is based on the actual game as well as incorporating between the DDR games, the Just Dance series, Audition Online Dance Battle and the defunct hybrid music and fighting game series, Bust A Groove.

Rage returns to serve some takoyaki as a takoyaki chef at the customers in MAX Carnival and his business becomes booming he had never seen before. He is closer to make a takoyaki restaurant until the arrival of both Retsu and Emi who informs him about the Dance Ace Competition.
